Cambodia's Calling

Right!

So it's been awhile since the last post as the team is currently taking a break. Yes, a break with lotsa kit kats! We're just kidding.

In the mean time, 3 of Team Republic's graduates, Iffa, Yatie and Shasha answered the call of Cambodia and headed there to conduct some PE lessons for the less-fortunate children there and at the same time, catch up with what's happening over at Phnom Phen.

We don't have much at the moment but some pictures to share!

Pre-trip: Iffa can't wait to surprise the kids there with all the secret good stuff!

Iffa and Yatie take a moment to take a picture with one of the kids.

Shasha also take a moment to take a picture with 3 kids and their favorite 'twist' sign.

Yatie generously loaned her cool sunglasses to one of the kids for a model shot!

Shasha interacts with the kids during PE lesson.
(we must admit that their jerseys look awesome!)

These kids are living in a village where conditions are not so well off unlike where most of us are living but surely, even one day of PE lesson is more than enough to make a smile from ear to ear on their faces.

Well, that's all the photos we have for now. We'll be back with more photos and some sharing!

Tough win

This is coming in late but last Thursday, 25 Feb 2010, Team Republic achieved a great 1-0 win over SMU! The match was played in 3 halves of 30minutes and the goal came from vice-captain Salasiah in the 2nd half. Both sides played good passing and we have to say that Jannah was having a hard time marking SMU's #7, Martina! Nonetheless, she did a great job despite her small built!
