The first match

The team put up a brave and valiant fight against the tough NYP team but wasn't good enough for them. In the first 10 minutes, NYP Ayu's tussled for the free ball, which was bouncing around RP's goal area and put the ball back into the net, giving them the lead. 15 minutes later, Shasha grabbed the equalizer for the team, with a great lob over NYP's keeper. NYP continued to score another 4 goals, 3 in the first and 1 in the latter 2nd half to wrap up their win, also their 2nd of the tournament.

Team Republic's WST have a day off training today and will resume training tomorrow before facing of their 2nd opponent, ITE come Monday, 6pm. Quick check: ITE recorded their first and biggest win of the tournament thus far, on the same Thursday night, trouncing SP 11-0. Team Republic's WST have plenty to do and must prevent ITE from scoring.
