Glitz 2013

Then again, another year has gone by and here we are at this year's Glitz 2013, also known as the annual Sports Awards.

This year, many of the players picked up awards in the meritorious categories and the highlight of the night was our Captain's double nomination in (Female) Captain Of The Year and Sportswoman Of The Year, in which she won the title of Sportswoman of The Year!

What a wonderful bonus for the team for being nominated for Team Of The Year (TOTY) but was closely edged out by the Tchoukball (Female) Team! Apart from that, the team was brought home the 'Sports for Good' award.

All in all, it was yet another great year and a great evening for the team and for the new members of the team who attended and experienced their first ever Sports Award Night, or should we say, Glitz 2013.

Till then, fingers crossed that the team would work towards being nominated for TOTY again next year and hopefully mark their name on that title!
